Steamboat during mud season is a great time to visit. Wow is it quiet around here! During the winter season, I never have enough time to stop for a break, and seem to move from one activity to the next. Living here you must enjoy the outdoors, and between working, skiing, snow shoeing, taking the dog and cat for a walk (yes, the cat in winter), skate-skiing, heading to the gym – I usually pack my lunch. Plus with so many people in town, most restaurants are packed so its a long lunch you have to allow.
